Jan 17–19. Body (a shoal) / Sybrig Dokter

In Body (a shoal) a body is shown that is attempting to be many and to keep various layers in focus at the same time. A vision of the body being written by a body. The body manifesting itself through different actions, gestures, movement and in stillness.

A long non-stop journey with the body as a site of unfixed and unsteady occurrences.

This solo had its beginning in Jean-Luc Nancys text ”58 Indices on the body”. Fiftyeight short texts that reflect on the body. These indexes offer a multifaceted view on the body and invite us to redefine our idea of what a body could be.
