May 20+21. Mountainbuilding / Anna Pehrsson
In Mountainbuilding, the movements of the body and the mountain converge, and human perception is confronted with processes that operate beyond our understanding of consciousness, time and existence. Over the course of three hours, Anna Pehrsson shapes a landscape of movement and stone, where the present interacts with the primordial, and the ephemeral is enveloped by the geologically slow.
Mountainbuilding is a tender contemplation of the human horizon, the ravages of time and the mountain’s place in the world.
