May 3–7. NPP 2023
We are happy to host the Master’s students in New Performative Practices (NPP) 2023 at SKH who are now sharing their degree projects here at Weld.
Those who show their works at Weld on May 3-7 are Darya Efrat, Valentina Parravicini, Tove Skeidsvoll, Maja Hannisdal and Eva-Maria Schaller. The students in the MA program New Performative Practices are experienced practitioners from different fields.
In their education at SKH Dance, these performers are given the context and support to immerse themselves in their own stories, refine and develop their research methods, and shape sustainable approaches to support ongoing practices in their chosen art field.
The program is research preparatory, qualifying the student for a Master’s degree in choreography with a focus on performative practices. There are currently fourteen students completing their studies at NPP. The graduation shows of the master students in New Performative Practices 2023 take place at SKH and at Weld 24 April – 7 May.
