Dec 3+4. TONTRÄGER / Martin Sonderkamp (DE/SE) & Darko Dragičević (RS/DE)

People use language everywhere every single day. Depending on when and where something is said, speaking constitutes concrete spaces and specific places in them.

TONTRÄGER deals with the possibilities of translating texts into movement, sound and corporeality and plays with ever-new configurations of body, space and object. This makes otherwise hidden places visible to the viewer. Listening, distributing and arranging, two bodies explore their possible actions in the empty spaces between text, object and stage.

TONTRÄGER is based on recorded conversations about embodied experiences of public, private, and imaginary space, held with the artists Zeina Hanna, Claudia Heu, Susanne Karow, Zorica Milisavljević, and Mengfan Wang

Created in collaboration with sound artist Vera Pulido and light designer Catalina Fernandez.
Produced by Martin Sonderkamp and Darko Dragičević, co-produced by Tanzfabrik Berlin.
