Nov 8. Weld Company + Tova Gerge & Britta Kiessling: Passivity Rules/Memories of Being Hanged

Tova Gerge and Britta Kiessling have been invited by Weld Company for one week collaborative work. Tova and Britta bring their project Passivity Rules/Memories of Being Hanged. Before the showing Weld has release for the fourth edition of ”No Talking, No Props”.

Passivity Rules are systems where passivity facilitates something, opens up something. It is also an interjection, a way to put passivity first: Passivity rules!

Memories of Being Hanged stands for experiences of losing control over one’s passivity, being close to dying or disappearing, concretely or metaphorically.

Passivity Rules/Memories of Being Hanged is about what is going on in a body that seems to sink, let go, lose its grip – or that actually does.

This project is a new project: a bunch of practices and attempts fresh out from the darkness of things that don’t exist yet. We invite you to look, think and talk with us about it.
