The title as starting point, with biological worlds as mirror,
Time_Transformation_Biological cycles.
The etymological root of Requiem: rest, silence.
A point zero, the indivisible whole before separation.
Linear time ceases, cyclical flows reign, only transformation, no clear beginning or end,
fluid borders between beings.
A contrast to the dualism that hurls us towards complexity,
where intellect and language build labyrinths away from wholeness.
Ivo Nilsson: foghorn, sirens, horn speaker, theremin och trombone.
Gustaf Broms: performance, video, object, organiska beings.

Gustaf Broms
(b. 1966) works in the borderlands between performance, video and installation. Lives and works in the Vendel forest. A practice engaged with the exploration of a language beyond tongue, using a body as anchor in a shifting landscape. To explore the ephemeral fragments of Being, between mind and matter.
