Drawings in pencil. Drawings in light. Traces of journeys, mappings, sketches, networks…
The actions of two performers cause chain reactions that affect sound and image.
A feedback cycle evolves as the audio-visual environment starts to influence the actions of the performers.

Palimpsest: Something reused or altered but still bearing visible traces of its earlier form.  

Kathy Hinde’s (GB) interdisciplinary approach combines different art forms frequently through collaborations with other practitioners, partnerships with scientists, and input from the audience. She has created video and sound for theatre and live art performances alongside creating installations and site specific work. A recent project incorporates hand-crafted automata in combination with video projections and computer controlled mechanisms. Alongside her new collaboration with Daniel Skoglund, previous collaborators are many include: Joanna MacGregor, Lotta Melin, Maja Ratkje, Hild Sofie Tafjord, Joby Burgess, Sabine Vogel, Ann Rosen, 'i am the mighty jungulator', Jin Xing, Stephen Montague and Gabriel Prokofiev.

Kathy is part of the N.I.P. collective (newinterfaces.net) and Polar Produce (polarproduce.org) and has worked many times with EMS, Stockholm.

Daniel Skoglund (SE) is a sound artist who works with performances, composition and installation art. He makes and presents his music in new ways by building diffrent machine. The machines are mechanical and electrical and are controlled by random choices and coincidences.
