twice twice
by Marcus Doverud, Amelie Rydqvist och Liv Strand
twice twice gives immaterial objects shape. Sound, procedure and pronouns form the composition.
A staged work by Marcus Doverud, Amelie Rydqvist and Liv Strand that during the course of two years has been working out what it can be to create collectively. At the beginning of the process there where a clear starting point and a focus on reading aloud, over time layers of complexity has been added, and the discussion have altered the possible actions and forms of expression the work can take on.
What we have collected and developed include theoretical interests of how subject and object expose each other, and how in-between spaces can function as places for acts of formulation.
The joint project has already generated a visual presentation Through Composition as Explanation in the auditorium at the Moderna Museet Stockholm, November 2011 in collaboration with curator Catrin Lundqvist as well as a deep reading practice conducted as a workshop at the Royal Institute of Art, Sweden in 2010. The up coming work twice twice presented at Weld give immaterial objects shape. Sound, procedure and pronouns form the composition.
The work Through Composition as Explanation is created in cooperation with the Moderna Museet and Weld.
With the support of Kulturbryggan, project support from the City of Stockholm, KU funds from the Royal Institute of Art .
